It was the end of an era with Italia Taouma leaving
Vaiala Beach School after 10 years.
Italia is returning to New Zealand.
The staff and students at VBS had a farewell celebration for Italia this was attended by all students and many parents. All classes performed an item in Italia's honour. This was followed by a school shared lunch.
Thank you Italia for all your hard work and service to VBS. We know we will keep in touch and see you soon.
