Word is on the street, that young Scientist Annabella is also
a whiz in the kitchen and has a great reputation as a fantastic baker. So her Science fair project was right up her
alley and about a topic close to her heart – baking. She compared three raising agents; baking soda, yeast and baking powder. Annabella was correct with her hypothesis and baking powder was the best choice. However take note of one important aspect, she discovered that if you put too much of a raising agent, it will rise in the oven but then sink and after all no-one likes a flat cup cake!
A very interesting project and one that could help next time you decide to whip a batch of cup cakes.
