Introducing Scientist – Apaula
This amazing project took between 30 and 40 hours and you can see why. Apaula is a year 7 Scientist who researched and investigated which fizzy drink removes rust. Apaula initially thought that coca-cola would be the drink that removes rust the quickest but was surprised when Taxi Raspberry and Fanta actually removed rust faster. She compared 7 different drinks. This young scientist also brought to our attention the sugar content in drinks and displayed the amount of sugar in bags below each drink. Apaula was placed second for her efforts. So think twice before you have some fizzy drink after all if it can remove rust then what will it be doing to your insides?
