Introducing Scientist – Rosa
Rosa is a young scientist who wanted to focus on helping the
environment. What is the best way to
reduce space that empty milk cartons take up?
So she cleaned out over 100 empty milk cartons (mold and maggots
included!) and looked at the best way to fold the cartons. She discovered that 25 empty containers can
fit in the space of just 4 non-folded cartons.
Think of the land fill space you could save. She also discovered that Samoa does not recycle
the packaging of these cartons. They are
recyclable and can be turned into roof tiles.
Come on Samoa, Rosa is showing that we can do something to reduce
waste! This young Scientist was awarded
