Sugar was the theme of the day. Anita a year 7 scientist researched if Soda
will dissolve shells. She compared three
drinks, Coke, Sprite and Fanta. Her
experiment took 6 weeks to complete. She
noted that after 6 weeks there was sediment at the bottom of the jars which had
fallen off from the shells. A great
reminder to brush your teeth after having a special treat drink or even better,
reach for the water!
