End of Term 3 notices, 2017
Thank you to all of those who helped with the Colour Fun Run last Friday. Just a reminder to please bring in any sponsorship money, if you haven’t done so already. The PA will inform you of how much was raised once it has been counted. Also, a big Thank You to the PA for initiating this fundraiser to help the school.
Parking Some drivers are blocking the carpark by coming up to school and leaving their car parked on the driveway. It is important that we keep the free flow of traffic on the driveway. If you wish to park and come up to the school, then you will need to park at the bottom of the field and walk up. This is in the best interest of your child’s safety and that of all the other children. Also, where there are ‘No Parking’ signs, please do not park your car there as it stops the free flow of traffic.
Uniforms and Hats Just a reminder that all children must wear the correct school uniform and Vaiala Beach School hat. Milk Cartons Over the next week and a half, we ask that if anybody has any Anchor Milk cartons if you could please wash them out and bring them to school with your child. Assembly
Just a reminder that our end of term assembly is in Week 10 on Wednesday 20 th September. The assembly will start at 12.45pm sharp.
Athletics A reminder that school athletics will now be held on Thursday 9th November and the wet day is Wednesday 22nd November.
Term 4 Invoices Thank you to all of the parents and caregivers who paid their Term 3 fees by direct credit or cheque. This makes our administration job much easier. Term 4 invoices will be sent via email on Wednesday 20th September. We will also give your child a hard copy. The due date for Term 4 fees is Friday 20th October. Fees paid after this date will be subject to a late fee.
New Staff Member A warm welcome to Leticia Retzlaff who is our new Year 5 teacher.
Students Returning in 2018 A letter will be going out today asking you to confirm if your child/ren will be returning in 2018. We will send this out via email and hardcopy. Could you please return this to us by Friday 15th September. Please also confirm if you receive school newsletters and correspondence by email.
